Amazing. Simply amazing. We came here for my birthday dinner after seeing it on the Bib Gourmand list. Reservations are a must, as it fills up quickly. It’s a nice restaurant, but not overly formal, which is refreshing. The cocktail menu was superb – lots of creative cocktails and a decent wine list as well.
The food was delicious. We split the tuna sashimi appetizer which may have been the best bite of the night. Really good avocado and cilantro cream. The braised short rib was flavorful and tender. The wasabi cream was a great accompaniment, as was the grilled cabbage salad (great bacon in Ireland). I had the cod on a bed of grilled corn, almonds, and more of the avocado cream. It was perfectly cooked, with a crispy skin. We split the spring garlic colcannon, which tasted like it was 50% butter – delicious! For dessert, we had a pavlova with lemon curd and fresh cream and the night was complete. Really good and I highly recommend to anyone in the Temple Bar area!
