Fantastic food and service that was second to none. I did have a few small quibbles… One issue was with the lighting (way too bright) and music (non-existent) which ruined any hope of a cool/relaxed ambiance that I’d usually attribute to a chic French bistro…

Food wise: I had the crispy hen egg for starter which was delicious, paired with the montepulciano d’abruzzio. Followed up with the Duck which was a little bland and was pretty small in comparison to the steaks my dining partners had. Sadly this meant I was left sitting idle waiting for the rest of the gang to finish their steaks. Not ideal.

Dessert was amazing – “snickers” of peanut butter parfait and chocolate sorbet. I can’t recommend this enough. Also bottle of wine #2 had arrived by now.

I’d recommend it and really hope that “3 stars” isn’t viewed as harsh – it just wasn’t the absolute best food I’ve ever had in Dublin but it was still pretty awesome.
