Had a lovely lunch here on Sat last. Genuine welcome, attentive friendly staff, and all in all the food was great. Courses were nicely timed also meaning we didn’t suffer from that dining phenomenon of still chewing your starter while your main course appears. We ate from the a la carte which adds up to an expensive lunch- yet we did not feel overcharged and it was value for the quality of the food and cooking. The set menus looked like a steal! One small niggle, table layout along the side wall was a bit haphazard meaning one table had loads of room and two others were very squished ( wished staff had seen same and reorganised as we could barely slip in and out of our seats!) Nonetheless this is only a small downside and I look forward to coming back……Oh and desserts were fabulous!!
