I missed this review in my reviews of Ireland. This is a cool little shop right in the heart of Dublin. We actually saw a show about it on the morning TV. That is why I wanted to try it. Since we were staying right here in town we thought that we would. We had seen them putting the whole thing together on the show. The owner seemed highly strung, maybe because, that makes better TV.
But, we found it pretty ,calm, and relaxing.
It seemed nice in here and it was very clean. I got a nice cuppa hot Tea, my daughter a drink. The bread they brought out before the main meal was wonderful. It had nuts in it even. The staff was good. Very quick, yet not rushed.
I had a lovely soup, Split Pea, it was delicious.
I really liked my Lamb, and I was a bit scared to get it as my last Lamb dish at the Bleeding horse was horrible! But, this one was cooked properly, and was delish as well. Gravy was really nice.
My only thing was it seemed very high priced. Which I guess is the way it is in this area.
It is worth a visit, I would go back any time.
